2023 GMC Acadia
The 2023 GMC Acadia is a handsome three-row midsize SUV, perfect for family road trips and backcountry adventures. This highly capable SUV and exquisitely designed SUV can get you where you want to go and delivers on style and performance.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
GMC offers the 2023 Acadia in four trims, the SLE, SLT, rugged AT4, and the premium Denali. You can also get the special Elevation Edition and Denali Black Diamond Edition, which come with special wheels, exterior and interior accents, and technology features.
This striking-looking SUV has a bold front grille with vertical chrome lines on the three lower trims and a futuristic-looking honeycombed grille on the Denali. Large rectangular LED headlights bracket the grille, and the low fascia and roof rails found on select trims help to give the Acadia a rugged appearance. From the back, the wide boxy stance of this SUV stands out, as do the large LED taillights and chrome strip with the GMC logo distinctly placed.
Engine (Power)
Both the SLE and SLT Acadia trims come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Under the hood of the AT4 and Denali, you'll find a more powerful 3.6-liter V-6 engine pumping out 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque with an active fuel management system. Stop/Start technology comes with both engines, and a nine-speed automatic transmission completes the 2023 Acadia's powertrain.
Performance
This midsize SUV handles smoothly, with its standard front-wheel-drive system or available all-wheel drive, which comes standard on the more rugged-oriented AT4 trim. Whether you're curving up mountain roads, driving through city traffic, or hauling a trailer, you'll notice the agileness of the Acadia.
All trims come with a fully independent front suspension system with MacPherson coil spring struts and an independent five-link rear suspension system. The front of the GMC Acadia also has a large stabilizer bar and side-load-compensated front strut modules for added stability and control. If you want to pull a small boat or trailer, the Acadia can haul up to 4,000 pounds when properly equipped.
Interior
This three-row SUV has seating for up to seven or eight passengers, depending on if you choose the second-row bench seat or captain's chairs. All but the base SLE trim come with power-adjustable heated front seats, leather upholstery, and heated second-row seats on the Denali trim. When you want the maximum space to carry luggage, groceries, and supplies, fold the back two seats flat, and you can get up to 79.0 cubic feet of storage space.
Technology enthusiasts will appreciate GMC's infotainment system with an 8-inch multi-touch display, navigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Enjoy listening to your playlists or streaming audio through the eight-speaker premium Bose stereo system.
Safety Features
You'll have peace of mind knowing that your 2023 GMC Acadia comes equipped with many driver-assist features, including adaptive cruise control and a lane mitigation system. Additional features include Teen Driver, a lane-change alert with blind-zone monitoring, and a forward collision warning with front pedestrian braking.
